The department is responsible for the delivery of recreation services. Together with our community partners, the department delivers recreational programs and maintains and operates a variety of recreational facilities such as municipal parks and sports fields, West Middlesex Memorial Centre, Gemini Sportsplex, Caradoc Community Centre and the Lions Pool.

The department also works with organizations, service clubs, sports teams and various groups to develop recreational infrastructure and enhance leisure opportunities in the community.
