Strathroy-Caradoc is receiving $1,709,568 via the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund (OCIF), Lambton-Kent-Middlesex MPP Monte McNaughton announced today.
The OCIF investment will support a multi-year reconstruction project planned for Queen Street, Strathroy that includes new storm sewer, street widening, and accessible sidewalks. The funds will also support Phase 3 of ongoing McEvoy Road upgrades focusing on safety, improved road base structure, and road widening.

In accordance with updated Provincial regulations, municipal indoor sport and recreation facilities and Museum Strathroy-Caradoc are closed until at least January 26, 2022.
The Municipal Office's customer service hub remains open, however, appointments are encouraged to ensure staff availability. Residents are also encouraged to take advantage of telephone and online options for reporting issues, making payments, and accessing municipal services in a safe and convenient manner during this time.

Effective Wednesday, January 5, 2022, the Province of Ontario will temporarily return to a modified version of Step Two of the Roadmap to Reopen. Indoor municipal sport and recreation facilities, including Gemini Sportsplex, West Middlesex Memorial Centre, and Tri-Township Arena, and museums and galleries, including Museum Strathroy-Caradoc, will be closed as of 12:01 a.m. on January 5 for at least 21 days.
