During the overnight hours of May 11 to 12 three barns were broken into on Calvert Drive, Strathroy. Suspects entered the barns by prying open the doors. Once inside, they stole a red 2007 Arctic Cat 500 4-wheel drive ATV ONT licence (11MB5); green 2011 Arctic Cat 700 4-wheel drive ATV - (57XT2); black and green 2012 Arctic Cat Wildcat ATV (side-by-side - looks like a dune buggy) (99ZH1); along with various tools. At 4:25 am on the morning of May 29, the Mac's Variety located at 7 Front Street East, Strathroy, was robbed. A lone male entered the store armed with a knife, and confronted the clerk demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes the suspect fled on foot. On Thursday, May 26, at 10:06 pm, Strathroy-Caradoc Police responded to an address on Thomas Street, Strathroy, for a report of a home invasion robbery. An elderly couple answered the door to their residence at about 10 pm to a male who forced his way into the house brandishing a weapon. Strathroy-Caradoc Police are investigating a theft of copper piping from a property on Avro Drive, Strathroy-Caradoc. The theft occurred sometime between April 9 and 13. Value of the theft is between $2,000 and $3,000.

On Sunday, April 10, at about 9:45pm, Strathroy-Caradoc Police were called to Hickory Drive for a report of a male in the middle of the road swinging what appeared to be a golf club at passing vehicles.
At the same time as police were on route to this call, police were advised that a male had been assaulted at a residence on Hickory Drive. Both incidents were related.
