The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service have arrested and charged a male with eight firearms related charges and three drug trafficking charges.
On Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 4:00 pm, Police investigated a weapons incident in the area of Head Street North and Metcalfe Street East in the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc.

On Friday, March 18, 2022, at approximately 2:45 a.m., a Strathroy-Caradoc Police officer was on general patrol in the area of Adelaide Road north of Glendon Drive in the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc.
The officer observed a motor vehicle at a high rate of speed which was caught on radar travelling at a speed of 110km/h in a posted 50km/h zone. The driver of the vehicle was eventually located and stopped at Caradoc Street and Ontario Street.

On Friday March 25, 2022, the Criminal Investigation Unit at Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service--with the assistance from the Uniform Division and London Police Service’s K9 unit--executed a search warrant at an address on Saulsbury Street in the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc.
The Police seized a quantity of drugs including Heroin, Crystal Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, Hydromorphone and Cocaine. Also located was over $1,000 in proceeds of crime and a large amount of stolen property.

On March 5, 2022, at 2:25 a.m., the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service were investigating a theft in progress behind Denning's Funeral Home located at 32 Metcalfe Street in the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc.
Officers on duty were able to locate the suspect vehicle involved a short time later parked in a parking lot on Hull Road with two occupants inside.
The vehicle involved was confirmed stolen. Police approached the vehicle and the occupants attempted to flee and were arrested by Police....

On Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 5:16 a.m., unknown suspect(s) attended the Denning's Funeral Home rear parking lot at 32 Metcalfe Street West, Strathroy.
The suspects were in a dark coloured GMC Sierra or Denali. The suspects used the pickup truck to steal a utility trailer described as a 2001 black and grey Model Rain 169 with Ontario marker R6708J.
