A Strathroy-Caradoc man and woman are facing a number of charges after $8500 in gift cards were stolen during a break and enter at a local business.

On Thursday, December 16, 2021, the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service received a call regarding a theft of an Amazon package from a residence on Seburn Drive in Mount Brydges.
SCPS officers responded to the area and located the vehicle and suspects involved. Through investigation, police were able to identify both occupants and recover the stolen property from this incident as well as another unreported theft in the area.

On November 29, 2021 at approximately 8:50 p.m., a female suspect was observed on surveillance video at the Strathroy Superstore. The female is seen on video filling her shopping cart with various items throughout the store. The female then left through the main exit, passing all points of payment and making no attempts to pay for the items in her cart.
It is estimated that there was upwards of $400.00 worth of store merchandise in the shopping cart.

The Strathroy-Caradoc Police are investigating a break and enter that occurred on December 1, 2021 at approximately 5:05 a.m. Two male suspects arrived at the store in what appeared to be a dark coloured, late '90s/early 2000’s GMC Jimmy or Chevrolet Blazer.

The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service are investigating a break and enter which occurred on Monday November 29, 2021 at approximately 11:20 p.m. at Tadgells Tool Store located at 281 Metcalfe Street West, Strathroy.
The culprit attended in a newer silver Dodge Ram crew cab, dual wheel pickup truck.
