The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc intends to adopt the Wastewater Services and Discharge to Municipal Sewers Bylaw at its October 15th council meeting.
The bylaw is available for review at the municipal office at 52 Frank Street, Strathroy, or online (see below). Any person who wishes to make representation at the meeting may contact the Clerk at (519) 245-1105 ext. 224.

The Middlesex Heritage Trail has been expanded to include interpretive signs for three additional historic sites in the municipality, supported by the Progress through Partnership program. Seven trees were planted in downtown Strathroy on Saturday, September 22, thanks to the support of Union Gas and the Strathroy Lions Club. The tree planting project was initiated by the municipal Progress through Partnership committee and the Strathroy Business Improvement Area (BIA). The project is part of an ongoing effort to beautify the commercial core through physical improvements identified in the Downtown Master Plan, adopted by Strathroy-Caradoc Council in 2010.

Mark Campbell was officially sworn in as Deputy Chief of Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service on Wednesday, September 19.
Deputy Chief Campbell has been a police officer for 22 years, the last 12 of which have been served with the SCPS. Campbell moved up through the ranks from Constable to Sargeant, and then Staff Sargeant. His current appointment was effective July 24, 2012.
