The Caradoc Community Centre in Mount Brydges was spruced up in late June, as several municipal departments came together to improve the landscaped areas and grounds of the facility. An irrigation system was also installed around the building in order to maintain a perimeter of freshly laid sod and garden beds.

Mayor Joanne Vanderheyden welcomed the Ontario Good Roads Association (OGRA) to the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc for board meetings from June 19-21.

A project that will result in the installation of rooftop solar panels on as many as 13 municipal buildings in Strathroy-Caradoc is going ahead.
Council on June 17 approved the lowest of nine bids submitted for the work. EfstonScience Inc. of Toronto will do the design, engineering, construction, and installation of the panels at a cost of $430,500 before HST. Its bid was nearly $60,000 lower than the next lowest bid.
