Strathroy-Caradoc received 186 responses to a recent survey on the demand for accessible taxicabs in the municipality.
The survey was conducted online via the Municipal website over a period of seven weeks. Of the 186 respondents, 90% resided within the Municipality. A total of 8% of respondents indicated a need for wheel-chair accessible transportation, and 87% indicated that they knew someone who needed wheel-chair accessible transportation. The installation of a new sign for the recreation complex located at the corner of Park Street and Metcalfe Street in Strathroy this week marks a pivotal stage in the Strathroy outdoor pool project.

Museum Strathroy-Caradoc has added a new online exhibit to its website in honour of the people from our community who lost their lives in service to our country.
The 'Virtual War Memorial' resource features a comprehensive profile of each of the over 100 names listed on the Strathroy and Mount Brydges cenotaphs. Effective Tuesday, November 12, the customer service office of the Department of Parks & Recreation will be relocated to the second floor of the Town Hall office, located at 52 Frank Street, Strathroy.
