Strathroy-Caradoc Deputy Mayor Brad Richards has been elected Middlesex County Warden for 2013.
As Warden, Richards will provide leadership at the helm of Middlesex County Council, which is composed of mayors and deputy mayors from all municipalities within Middlesex County.

The fundraising body for Museum Strathroy-Caradoc will have a means to show their appreciation for the generous donations received from the community, thanks to the installation of a new donor recognition feature in the museum foyer.
With the support of the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, the Museum Foundation has developed a new fundraising program to encourage support for museum programs and activities, including a new donor board designed to recognize donors based on their level of contribution.

The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc reminds residents that an overnight parking ban will be in effect from December 1, 2012 to March 31, 2013.
Vehicles parked on municipal roadways between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. may be ticketed. Police and by-law enforcement personnel will be strictly enforcing this bylaw to ensure safe and efficient snow removal during the winter months.
The Municipality thanks residents for their cooperation to help keep our streets clear of snow this winter.

The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc is pleased to announce that Bill Andrew has assumed the position of District Fire Chief for the Melbourne Fire Station following the November 19, 2012, retirement of former District Fire Chief Murray Hathaway.
Steve Merklinger has been promoted as Deputy District Chief of the Melbourne Station as well.

Long-time Melbourne firefighter and District Fire Chief Murray Hathaway has retired.
Strathroy-Caradoc Council recognized him at its Nov. 19 meeting, as Mayor Joanne Vanderheyden presented him with a certificate and a gift in honour of his 49 years of service to the community. He retired as of Nov. 19.
