Noise Exemption Granted for Strathroy Hometown Festival
Strathroy-Caradoc Council approved a temporary noise permit application for the Strathroy Hometown Festival, scheduled for June 14, 15, and 16, 2019 at Alexandra Park. The application permits the annual community festival to host live music at the park until 1 a.m. on the Friday/Saturday and Saturday/Sunday nights. Read the application.
Party Packages Available at Municipal Facilities
The Community Services Department is launching Party Package offerings at Municipal facilities. From corporate events to themed birthday parties, Party Packages help residents plan the perfect event that can incorporate fun add-ons like Archery Tag, Bubble Soccer, or a Bounce House. Planning Applications Approved
Curran Capital Development Corp. and Canadian Commercial (Acquisitions) received approval to re-zone 105 and 119 Caradoc Street South, Strathroy, as a step forward in establishing two proposed “quick service” restaurants. The application had previously been reviewed by Council at its December 17 meeting, where public feedback was received. The approval is subject to a holding provision requiring a site plan control agreement with the Municipality. Read the report.
