Register for the Online Bids & Tenders Tool and View Active Bid Opportunities
Please note that all municipal projects available for bidding are posted to the online Bids & Tenders tool. Only registered companies will be able to bid on municipal bid opportunities.
The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc will only accept tenders from registered Bids & Tenders plan takers. All other tenders submitted without a Bids & Tenders registration will not be accepted.
To register for the online Bids & Tenders tool and view our active bidding opportunities, please access https://strathroy-caradoc.bidsandtenders.ca and click "Create an Account" to begin the registration process. Registrants will be asked to select commodity code(s) for goods, services and construction relevant to their business. When bid opportunities are posted from any Bids & Tenders client that matches the selected commodity codes, registrants will receive an e-mail notification of the new opportunity. Bidders are solely responsible for ensuring their vendor account information is kept current.
The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc advertises all public Requests for Tenders, Formal Quotations, and Proposals in accordance with its Purchasing and Procurement Policy (PDF [509 kB]). All providers of goods and services to the Municipality must make themselves aware of this Policy.
Important Information for Prospective Bidders |
Prospective Bidders may preview the Bid Document at no cost to determine if the bid is of interest to their firm. When reviewing a document as a Prospective Bidder, there will be a watermark on the document. Bidders must first register as a Plan Taker to gain access to the non-marked file. Bidders must be a Registered Plan Taker to submit a bid. Registration will ensure that bidders are added to the contact list and will receive notification of any addenda that may be issued with respect to the Bid Opportunity. Please note that failure to acknowledge an addendum in a submission may result in the rejection of the bid. Note: The bid document is the official document. Sometimes the information provided on this website is different than the information on the bid document. In all cases, the information on the bid document will prevail. |
Register for Bids & Tenders Online (Mandatory Effective April 1, 2016) |
The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc's online Bids and Tenders tool provided by eSolutionsGroup allows vendors to view, register, and download bid opportunities through the municipal website. Vendors can register for the new Bids and Tenders tool to receive notice of upcoming bid opportunities. All projects available for bidding are posted exclusively to this system. Vendors can search and view bid opportunities online, and have the option to pay a fee of $45.00 to eSolutionsGroup to download each bid opportunity if they are interested in submitting a bid. Or vendors can purchase an unlimited annual subscription fee of $165.00 from our Bids and Tenders e-Procurement platform at https://strathroy-caradoc.bidsandtenders.ca. If a vendor already has a paid Bids & Tenders subscription with eSolutionsGroup from another community, a subscription fee is not required. Registration provides access not only to Strathroy-Caradoc bid opportunities, but to all bid opportunities for eSolutionsGroup Bids & Tenders clients throughout the region and across Canada. Please note that effective April 1, 2016, only registered vendors are able to bid on opportunities with the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc. Over the next few months, the Municipality will transition to a Bids & Tenders process that is entirely and exclusively online, allowing registered vendors to not only download bid packages, but also submit their bids online through the municipal website in one quick, easy, and convenient location. The change to a paperless online system will ensure consistency and transparency in our purchasing and procurement process, improve access to bid opportunities for vendors, and minimize administrative time and costs associated with the bids and tenders process. |

Accessibility Regulations for Contracted Services |
Please note that if you are conducting business with the Municipality you must comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, (Act) as amended, and its Regulations and the Ontario Human Rights Code. Successful bidders who will be supplying goods or services to or on behalf of the Municipality shall provide the training to their staff and subcontractors as noted in the Accessibility Regulations for Contracted Services Form to confirm compliance and make the requested information available to the Municipality at any time during the contract.
