Fair Grounds Aquatic Park will be reopening at the end of June!

Registration for Swimming Lessons opens on March 29, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.

Registration for Swim Team opens on April 5, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.

To register for Swimming Lessons or for Swim Team, please use the Municipality's BookKing platform.

Swimming Lessons (2023)
  • Session 1: July 3 - 14, 2023
  • Session 2: July 17 - 28, 2023
  • Session 3: July 31 - August 11, 2023
  • Session 4: August 14 - 25, 2023

Please note all lessons will be offered in accordance with Life Saving Society swim program modules as the Canadian Red Cross Swimming program will be winding down. Please note updated program descriptions when registering for the program of your choice.

Swim Team dates are to be determined - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday

  • Morning Session: 7:30 a.m. - 8:20 a.m.
  • Evening Session: 4:30 p.m. - 5:20 p.m.
2023 Aquatic Park Fees (Incl. Tax)
Admission - Public Swimming - Ages 2 - 12 years $2.25/per session
Admission - Public Swimming - Ages 13+ $2.50/per session
Admission - Lane Swim $4.25/per session
Admission - Aqua Fit $5.70/per session
Public Swim Season Pass - Individual $96
Public Swim Season Pass - Family (2 Adults + 2 Children) $255
Public Swim Season Pass - Family (Each Additional Child) $48
All Access Season Pass - Individual (Excludes Swim Lessons) $133

 

About Fair Grounds Aquatic Park

Fair Grounds Aquatic Park is located at 334 Metcalfe Street West, Strathroy, at the Fair Grounds Recreation Complex--a 15-acre park space featuring baseball diamonds, tennis courts, pavilion and picnic areas, Sleepy Hollow miniature railway, and the West Middlesex Memorial Centre arena. The aquatic park features men's, ladies, and family change areas, as well as a shaded spectator area.

Aquatic Park Features

  • Leisure pool with accessible beach level entry, adult conversation area, lazy river and numerous water features

  • 18' high water slide with 170' long run

  • 6-lane, 25 metre competition pool with shaded spectator area

  • Heated pool water

  • Volunteer with the Municipality's Aquatic Programs (must be 13 years of age or older)

Program Integration and Volunteer Assistance

The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc is committed to providing access to services for all persons.  Persons with special needs are welcome to attend any recreation activity compatible with their interests and abilities.  Participants are encouraged to bring their own volunteer support.  This volunteer could be a friend, spouse, family member or caregiver.  The volunteer is not charged a fee when they attend a program with a paying, registered participant.
