Though Strathroy-Caradoc is not currently considered a high-risk area for the presence of the type of tick that carries Lyme Disease, users of our conservation areas and trails should be aware that these ticks are present in the region, especially along Lake Huron, and be on the lookout for them as they enjoy the outdoors.
For specific information on what precautions to take to avoid them and what to do if a tick is found on someone's body, have a look at this poster.
