Dog licences and cat registration tags can be obtained at the Strathroy-Caradoc Municipal Office and the Animal Care Centre Lobo. You may also request a tag by completing the online pet registration form.

If you own a dog in the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc, your dog must be licensed and the tag must be attached to the dog at all times when he or she is not on your property. The Municipality issues dog tags for the lifetime of your dog at no charge; however, there is a $5 fee if you lose your dog tag.

A dog tag is the best form of identification for your dog. If your dog is lost or strays, it is the best insurance that you will get him or her home safely. 

The Municipality issues registration tags at no charge to those cat owners who wish to register their cats. THIS IS A VOLUNTARY REGISTRATION PROGRAM. A tag is the best form of identification for your cat. If your cat is lost or strays, it is the best insurance that you will get him or her home safely. 

Dog and cat tags are available at A.C.C. Lobo (5592 Egremont Dr., Ilderton), at the Municipal Office (52 Frank Street, Strathroy), and via online registration:

Residents with concerns or complaints in regard to animals are asked to use the following guidelines to direct their concerns to the most appropriate agency. Ensuring public safety and care for animals are priorities for every responding agency.
