Property Taxes |
To register to pay bills online, please sign up with our Virtual City Hall service.
Another option for receiving tax bills is by email. Follow this link to register to have your bill sent by email.
Property taxes are due on the last business day of the following months: • February • May • August • October
Tax rates are approved by Council each year. The current year's taxes and a local “Property Tax Comparison” are posted on the Municipal website at www.strathroy-caradoc.ca/Property-Taxes.

Utilities

When you move to Strathroy-Caradoc, you may be required to register for some essential utilities like water and wastewater, hydro, and gas. Please see applicable utilities below:
Water and Wastewater |
The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc provides water and wastewater services to residents in Strathroy, Mount Brydges, and a small portion of Adelaide-Metcalfe. Water services are provided to residents in Campbellvale and Delaware West.
The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc issues utility bills every two months: February, April, June, August, October and December. Each bill is due on the 15th of the next month in which it is issued.
The Municipality has a number of options available to our customers for payment. Payment must be received at the Municipality by the due date to avoid penalty. For more information on payment options, please visit www.strathroy-caradoc.ca/UtilityBilling.

Hydro (Electricity) |
Hydro service for the settlement areas of Strathroy and Mount Brydges is provided by Entegrus. Other areas of the Municipality are served by Hydro One.

Gas distribution services are provided by Enbridge Gas.

Internet, Phone, and Television Providers |
There are various options for residents who are interested in setting up a cellular phone, cable or satellite television, and internet service. We advise that you conduct research to ensure that you pick a provider that meets your needs.
Telecommunications providers include Bell Canada, Rogers Communications, TekSavvy, Start.ca, and North Frontenac Telephone Company (NFTC).
Other cellular phone providers include Koodo, Telus, Virgin, and Freedom, among others.

Fire Service |
The Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department is a volunteer-based service that provides a range of programs to protect the lives and properties of the inhabitants of the Municipality from the adverse effects of fires, sudden medical emergencies, or exposure to dangerous conditions created by man or nature.

Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service
|
The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service is maintained through the governance of the council-appointed Police Services Board.
The Police Service’s front line officers provide 24-hour service to the community. Officer assignments include; Traffic Enforcement and Projects (TEP); Community Services, Forensic Identification/Court, Criminal Investigations Division, Community Patrol, and Emergency Response. Civilian staff operate the Community Emergency Reporting Bureau (CERB), receiving and dispatching 911, and non-emergency calls for service.

Ambulance Service |
Middlesex-London EMS is responsible for providing 24-hour emergency and non-emergency pre-hospital medical care and transportation to individuals experiencing injury or illness. Staff are graduates of an accredited College Paramedic Program and are certified by the MLEMS Medical Director, through the Southwest Ontario Regional Base Hospital Program

Transfer Stations |
The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc operates two waste transfer stations for its residents.
Mount Brydges Transfer Station
22416 Mill Road, Mount Brydges April to November - 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month December to March - 4th Saturday of the month. OPEN: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Strathroy Transfer Station
27786 Pike Road, Strathroy (Lagoon Site) March to November - Every Wednesday and Saturday; December to February - 2nd Saturday of the month. OPEN: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Pet Registration |
Dog licences and cat registration tags can be obtained at the Strathroy-Caradoc Municipal Office and the Animal Care Centre Lobo. You may also request a tag by completing the online pet registration form.
Dog and cat tags are available at A.C.C. Lobo (5592 Egremont Dr., Ilderton) and at the Municipal Office (52 Frank Street, Strathroy).

The Municipality delivers recreational programs and maintains and operates municipal facilities, parks and sports fields, including West Middlesex Memorial Centre, Gemini Sportsplex, Caradoc Community Centre, Museum Strathroy-Caradoc and the Fair Grounds Aquatic Park.
The department also works with organizations, service clubs, sports teams, and various groups to develop recreational infrastructure, enhance leisure opportunities in the community, and serve as a resource for the community.
