Glen Oak Culvert Replacement |
The Glen Oak Culvert Replacement project includes the replacement of a pre-existing culvert located on Glen Oak Road between Melbourne Road and Calvert Drive. Based on the municipality's 2021 Bridge Condition Index, it was determined that the Glen Oak culvert should be replaced within 1 to 5 years. In addition to the culvert installation, this project includes the reconstruction of the current sharp bend in Glen Oak Road at the site of the existing culvert. Road Closures: Glen Oak Road will be closed from Melbourne Road to Calvert Drive beginning at 7 a.m. on August 26, 2024. This multi-week project is anticipated to be completed by mid- to late-September. Project Map

Saxton Road Reconstruction and Strathroy Crossings Drain |
This project has combined two of the Municipality’s current infrastructure needs — the Strathroy Crossings Drain and Saxton Road Reconstruction — into one overarching project. The Strathroy Crossings Drain project includes the installation of a municipal drain that will provide the Strathroy Crossings development block and surrounding area with increased stormwater capacity. In addition to servicing the Strathroy Crossings development block, the new drain will allow the South Grove Meadows subdivision to complete the last development phase and improve the stormwater system within the already constructed phases. The Saxton Road Reconstruction project includes the redesign and reconstruction of Saxton Road to comply with urban standards. The project includes adding street lights, extending the sidewalks to connect to the South Grove subdivision, and installing storm sewers. The reconstruction will be from Carroll Street E to Collins Way. Road Closures:
