Strathroy-Caradoc Municipal Office Closure

• CLOSED from Saturday, December 24, 2022 to Sunday, January 1, 2023 (inclusive)
• Re-opening on Monday, January 2, 2023 @ 9:00 a.m.

Natural Christmas Tree Drop-Off

Natural Christmas trees may be disposed of at the designated area at 475 Metcalfe Street West from December 26, 2022 to January 7, 2023. Please remember to remove all ornaments, lights, tinsel, nails, tree stands, and tree skirts. Learn more.

Transfer Station Hours

Strathroy-Caradoc Transfer Stations are operating on winter hours:

• Mount Brydges Transfer Station
  • Saturday, December 17 (in lieu of Christmas Eve)
  • Saturday, January 28
• Strathroy Transfer Station
  • Saturday, December 10
  • Saturday, January 14

Recreation Facility Closures & Ice Bookings

Gemini Sportsplex and West Middlesex Memorial Centre will be closed on the following dates with no programming:

• Saturday, December 24
• Sunday, December 25
• Monday, December 26
• Saturday, December 31
• Sunday, January 1

Ice booking requests will not be reviewed during the Municipal Office Closure. Please submit your holiday ice time requests before Friday, December 23, 2022.

Recreation Program Blackout Dates

Public Skating will not be offered on:

• Sunday, December 25 (Christmas Day)
• Sunday, January 1 (New Years Day)

Museum Strathroy-Caradoc

The Museum Strathroy-Caradoc Office and Gift Shop will be CLOSED from Saturday, December 24 to Sunday, January 1, inclusive.

The Museum Strathroy-Caradoc Gallery will be OPEN in accordance with the operating hours of 34 Frank/Strathroy Public Library:

• Saturday, December 24: 10am – 12pm
• Sunday, December 25 – Tuesday, December 27: Closed
• Wednesday, December 28 – Thursday, December 29: 9am – 8pm
• Friday, December 30: 9am – 7pm
• Saturday, December 31: 10am – 12pm
• Sunday, January 1 - Monday, January 2: Closed

Inter-Community Transit

The Inter-Community Transit Service will not be operating on:

• Saturday, December 25 (Christmas Day)
• Sunday, December 26 (Boxing Day)

Garbage & Recycling Collection

There will be no changes to garbage and recycling collection schedules provided by Bluewater Recycling Association.

Winter Break Recreation Programs

• Winter Break Day Camps: Tuesday, December 27 – Friday, January 6

• Adults & Seniors Skate: Tuesdays/Thursdays: 11am – 12pm

Council Recess

Strathroy-Caradoc Council will not meet on the first Monday of January 2023. The first Council meeting of the year is scheduled for Monday, January 16, 2023.
