Purpose and Effect
An application for consent has been submitted by the owner’s agent and will be heard by the Strathroy-Caradoc Committee of Adjustment. The purpose of the application is to sever a surplus farm dwelling from a larger farm parcel comprised of 18.61 ha (46 ac). The proposed lands to be severed are approximately 0.5 ha (1.2 ac) in size, with approximately 9.14 m (30 ft) of frontage along Inadale Drive. The lands contain a single detached dwelling and a shed. The lands to be retained are proposed to be approximately 18.11 ha (4.8 ac) in size and are largely in agricultural production. A portion of the subject lands has been identified as ‘significant woodlands’ and is regulated by the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority.
The subject lands are within the agricultural designation of the Strathroy-Caradoc Official Plan and within the General Agricultural (A1) Zone of the Zoning By-law. The subject property is located on the north side of Inadale Drive, just west of Adelaide Road (County Road 81). The land is legally described as Part of Lot 12, Concession 7 (Caradoc); and Part 3 of 34R1788, Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc. See attached Map.

If you wish to be notified of a decision of the Committee of Adjustment, you must file a written request with the Acting Secretary-Treasurer of the Committee of Adjustment. An appeal of a decision of the Committee of Adjustment to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) shall be filed within 20 days of the notice of decision.
