Purpose and Effect
An application for consent has been submitted by the applicant and will be heard before the Strathroy-Caradoc
Committee of Adjustment. The application was originally heard at the April 7, 2022 Committee of Adjustment
meeting for the severance of three (3) residential lots, but one lot was deferred for more information. Lot 3 (Part 3)
is proposed to have a frontage of 50.9 m (167 ft) along Troops Road, a depth of 81.8 m (268.4 ft) and an area of 0.41
ha (1.02 ac). The retained lot will remain agricultural.
The subject lands are located within the Rural Residential designation of the Strathroy-Caradoc Official Plan and are
within a site-specific General Agricultural Zone (A1-2) of the Zoning By-law. Attached to this notice is a location map
and draft severance sketch.

There is a 20-day appeal period from the date of the notice of the decision, in which time the decision of the Committee may be appealed to the Ontario Land Tribunal. If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision of the Strathroy-Caradoc Committee of Adjustment in respect of the proposed consent does not make a written submission to the Committee before it gives or refuses to give provisional consent, the Ontario Land Tribunal may dismiss the appeal. If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Committee of Adjustment, you must submit a written request by mail or email to Eva Baker, Acting Secretary-Treasurer (see above). The applicant, or any authorized person, appointed in writing and acting on behalf of the applicant, must attend this
Hearing. If you are aware of any persons affected by this application who have not received a copy of this notice, it
