On Friday, March 18, 2022, at approximately 2:45 a.m., a Strathroy-Caradoc Police officer was on general patrol in the area of Adelaide Road north of Glendon Drive in the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc.
The officer observed a motor vehicle at a high rate of speed which was caught on radar travelling at a speed of 110km/h in a posted 50km/h zone. The driver of the vehicle was eventually located and stopped at Caradoc Street and Ontario Street.
The driver showed signs of impairment however, refused to provide a breath sample when requested by Police.
As a result, a 32 year old male from Bayfield was subsequently arrested and charged with:
The accused is expected to appear in London Court on Friday, April 4, 2022 to face these charges.
The accused's vehicle was impounded for 14 days and his license has been suspended under ADLS suspension for 90 days.
