Strathroy-Caradoc residents may drop off leaves and yard waste free of charge at municipal transfer stations this fall.
The Strathroy Transfer Station, located at 27786 Pike Road, is open every Wednesday and Saturday from 8:30am – 4:30pm until the end of November.
The Mount Brydges Transfer Station, located at 22416 Mill Road, is open the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month from 8:30am – 4:30pm until the end of November.
The Mount Brydges site will be open additional hours to accommodate leaf disposal, thanks to local Scouting groups. Members of the Scouts will be at the Mount Brydges transfer station on these additional dates to accept leaves and yard waste:
Please note that no brush or additional items will be accepted on the above dates.
Scouts will also be assisting with leaf drop-off at the Strathroy Transfer Station each Saturday throughout the month of November, and at the Mount Brydges Transfer Station during regular operating hours on Saturday, November 9 and Saturday, November 23.
Residents are reminded that there is no curbside leaf collection. There is no charge for the disposal of leaves and yard waste at transfer stations.
