Impaired Driving Arrest

On December 8, 2023, at 4:45 a.m., the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service were dispatched to a vehicle in the ditch at the intersection of Muncey Road and Middlemiss Drive in the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc. Police arrived on scene and determined the involved driver showed signs of impairment by alcohol.

A 53-year-old female was subsequently placed under arrest for operation while impaired.

As a result of the investigation the accused was charged with:

CC 320.14(1)(a) Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
CC 320.14(1)(b) Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused driver’s license was suspended, and the vehicle involved was impounded. The accused will attend court on Jan 2nd, 2023, in London, to answer to these charges.
