The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service investigated two disturbances at Strathroy District Collegiate Institute (SDCI) last week; police have determined that the incidents are not related.
On November 10, 2021 police received a report of a disturbance. Two parties, a male youth and female youth, have been charged with the criminal offence of Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
On November 12, 2021 police were made aware of a large disturbance involving a number of female youths. As a result of this investigation, four female youths were charged with the criminal offence of Causing a Disturbance. Two other female youths were charged with Causing a Disturbance and Assault.
The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service wants to remind the students that Police will investigate any incidents of fights and assaults in our high schools. This type of behaviour and violence will not be tolerated in the school environment or in the community.
