The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc and Strathroy-Caradoc Police Services are currently updating or developing strategic plans. The Municipality and Police Services will use the strategic planning process to identify the future goals and direction of each organization. Along with developing a plan for their future, the strategic plan will allow both organizations to identify the actions and objectives that are required to ensure that each organization is able to achieve its plan.
Although the Municipality ’s current strategic plan provides a strong foundation, no strategic plan is static and the vision and priorities of the organization need to be revisited from time to time.
To complete the strategic plans, the Municipality has engaged with Municipal Strategic Planning Associates (MSPA), administered by Cash & Associates Inc. In collaboration with MSPA, the Municipality will update the existing Corporate Strategic Plan, and the Police Services Board will develop a new Strategic Plan.
The project commences in November 2023, with an anticipated completion date of April 2024.
Throughout the strategic planning process, there will be various engagement opportunities for elected officials, employees, and the community to provide feedback on the plan. Public engagement opportunities will include meetings with community groups, community focus groups, and the circulation of a community survey.
