The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc and the Police Services Board have been working through the early stages of the strategic planning process to identify preliminary strategic priorities. These priorities represent the key focus areas of the strategic plan and help each organization to structure their goals moving forward. With preliminary strategic priorities developed, both organizations are excited to share these draft priorities with the public. In order to ensure that the strategic plans reflect the interests of the community, both the Municipality and Police Services Board want to provide ample opportunity for the public to provide feedback.
The public is invited to provide their input by filling out a community survey. This survey will be available beginning the week of February 5, 2024, and can be returned until February 23, 2024.
This is a paper survey that will be distributed randomly by mail to the owner of every twelfth property listed on the Municipality’s Tax Assessment Roll.
If you receive one of these surveys in the mail, you will have the option of returning it in the self-addressed stamped envelope, or by going to the link included in the survey, and completing it online instead.
Each survey is numbered for those responses returned by mail. If you want to respond to this paper survey electronically instead, please note the survey number found on the survey form. This will help ensure the statistical validity of the responses.
A digital survey can be answered online at www.strathroy-caradoc.ca/communitysurvey. Please respond no later than FEBRUARY 23, 2024.
There will be paper copies of the survey made available for pick up at the Municipal Office, the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Station, and at the Strathroy, Mount Brydges, and Melbourne libraries. Once completed, you can drop off your survey at any of these locations by FEBRUARY 23, 2024.
If you would like to make additional comments, please do so by sending an email to connect@strathroy-caradoc.ca.
The survey facilitators will produce a summary report which will be posted on the Strathroy-Caradoc website (www.strathroy-caradoc.ca) by the beginning of April. You can also obtain a copy of the report at that time from the Municipal Office.
Thank you! We look forward to your thoughtful feedback.
