New garbage and recycling containers will be delivered to each household starting the week of November 19, 2012, as part of the new automated collection service offered by Bluewater Recycling Association.
These new “wheelie” bins will be compatible with the automated collection trucks operated by BRA. Residents may find out more about this cleaner, more efficient, and safer collection system by attending an open house offered by the municipality:

The new bins are also on display at the Gemini Sportsplex, West Middlesex Memorial Centre, Strathroy-Caradoc Town Hall, and Strathroy Public Library/Museum Strathroy-Caradoc.
Bag tags and current recycling bins may be used until the week of Monday, January 7, 2013, when the new automated service begins. Any unused bag tags can be returned to the Strathroy-Caradoc municipal office for reimbursement until January 31, 2013.
