NEWS RELEASE - On Friday, September 13, 2024, at approximately 2:00 a.m., the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service responded to a disturbance call at an address on Frank Street, Strathroy.
Police received information that there was a verbal altercation between two parties, which escalated to a point where the Strathroy-Cardoc Police were called. One party exited the apartment, and it was determined that the male party inside was on Release Conditions and not to be at that location.
Police attempted to make contact with the male party inside the residence who was uncooperative and barricaded himself. The male threw items out of the window onto the street, so, for safety precautions, Frank St. was closed between Centre St. and Calendar Ln.
Police are still on the scene, and Frank St. will remain closed until the situation is resolved.
