Key Decisions and Activity from Strathroy-Caradoc Council – July 20, 2020
Streamlined Process Approved for Temporary Patio Construction
Strathroy-Caradoc Council approved new guidelines to expedite the construction of temporary outdoor patios, or “pop-up” patios, for existing restaurants, bars, and other food and drink establishments.
Council also supported the extension of existing liquor licences to approved temporary patios for the duration of 2020.
These approvals are intended to support local businesses in the hospitality sector through what may prove to be lasting changes to how restaurants and licensed bars and establishments operate and serve clients post COVID-19. Read the report and new guidelines.
