Founded in 1901 on the former "Bixel Flats", Alexandra Park is the largest park in Strathroy-Caradoc. Bordered by the Sydenham River and the J.W. Oakes Wildlife Sanctuary and Arboretum, Alexandra Park offers a serene setting for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike. The Park is home to:

Sensory Park is an inclusive park that inspires sensory play for guests of all ages and abilities. Enjoy accessible play equipment natural winding paths, and a sensory garden hosting a variety of edible plant life to spark all five senses.

The Municipality is proud to work with the Strathroy-Caradoc Dog Owners Association to operate and maintain the Strathroy Dog Park. The off-leash dog park features nearly 5 acres of open green space, benches, lighting, shade trees, and two fenced areas for off-leash play with controlled gate access. Hand pump ground water is also available (not for human consumption) to provide dogs with access to water, except during the winter season.

Sportsfields

The Cuddy Sports Complex features two regulation-size soccer fields. In 2002, the complex was named in honour of noted business entrepreneur and community leader Mr. Mac Cuddy.

Royals Field, located in historic Alexandra Park, has been used as a baseball diamond for over 100 years. Currently the home of the Strathroy Royals, Royals Field is an integral part of Alexandra Park.

Yorkview Community Park - York Avenue, Strathroy, ON N7G 2A8

Yorkview Community Park features a regional baseball and soccer complex, with concession and washroom facilities. The soccer fields are named in memory of Mr. Henk Van Dyk, a long-time soccer supporter and community leader.
