Site Plan Control Bylaw
To ensure a high standard of development and to provide compatibility with, and protection of, neighbouring land uses, new development and significant expansions to existing development are subject to the site plan control provisions of the Planning Act.
Site plan control is generally not applied to low density residential and agricultural uses, but specific instances may warrant it to reduce impacts and ensure compatibility with the use and character of neighbouring lands.
