Fire Station No. 1 Update

The Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department is excited to announce that effective September 13, 2025, they will be moving to and officially operating out of the new Fire Station No. 1 on Metcalfe Street East. From this date forward, all apparatus will respond directly from this new location.

Please note: The site is still under construction and the drive-through bays are not yet accessible. For the time being, our trucks will need to back up (reverse) into the hall from Metcalfe Street. 

To support safety in the area, “Fire Truck Entrance” signs have been installed in both directions of traffic near the station. We kindly ask motorists and pedestrians to stay alert and proceed with caution when they're responding to and returning from emergency calls.

Thank you for your patience and continued support during this transition. We look forward to serving the community from our new station.
