The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc and the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe Adopt an Interim Servicing Agreement
October 27, 2025 – Strathroy ON - The Municipalities of Strathroy-Caradoc and Adelaide Metcalfe adopt an interim servicing agreement for the shared provision of water, wastewater and stormwater management services.
“This is a significant step forward for the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc and the Township of Adelaide-Metcalfe” stated Strathroy-Caradoc Mayor Colin Grantham. “Our strengthened relationship will result in future opportunities for our area collectively.”
The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc and the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe have entered into an Interim Servicing Agreement that reinforces their shared commitment to collaboration, growth, and community prosperity.
The Agreement clearly outlines the respective roles and responsibilities of each municipality, including the designation of the Owners and Operating Authority for the provision and maintenance of water and wastewater public utilities. By modernizing this framework, both municipalities are ensuring reliable and coordinated service delivery for current and future residents and businesses.
This partnership strengthens the economic foundation of the area and creates the conditions necessary for sustainable and thoughtful development.
