The Council of the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc will hold a public meeting on September 2nd, 2025, to consider the following proposed Zoning By-law Amendment application. Please see attached the Notice of Public Meeting.

Purpose:

To rezone the property from Low Density Residential (R1) zone to Medium Density Residential (R2-#) zone to permit a new multiple unit building with a total of 6 dwellings on a private driveway and parking area with a single vehicle access on Calendar Lane. The owner has indicated that this will not be subject to a future condominium or severance of the individual dwellings. The development has frontage on Front Street W and Calendar Lane. The proposal includes a severance application, and this was refused at the Committee of Adjustment meeting in August 2025 to separate the existing dwelling from the proposed multiple dwelling townhouse.

The site-specific zoning will permit the proposed lot area and frontage as well as a reduced side yard setback.
