Saying Goodbye To The Old Fire Station One

(September 22, 2025) – Strathroy, Ontario.
Demolition is underway at the former Fire Station One in Strathroy, a facility that has proudly served our firefighters and community since 1975. For almost five decades, this station was home to the crews and equipment that answered emergencies and carried out our commitment to public safety.

Although the building is being removed, its importance in our story will not be forgotten. The site will soon be transformed into the rear apparatus apron and parking area for the newly constructed Fire Station One.

We extend our gratitude to the many firefighters—past and present—whose dedication helped shape the legacy of the station we now bid farewell.
