South Grove Meadows Park Project Approved by Council

Council has approved the supply and installation of new playground equipment for the South Grove Meadows neighbourhood park in Ward 2, located at Lindsay Crescent and Elwood Street.

At its recent meeting, Council approved Park N Water Ltd. to supply and install the playground equipment at a total value of $453,422.35, excluding HST.

Community engagement was a key part of the project’s development. Municipal staff hosted multiple Public Information Meetings with residents living within 125 metres of the proposed park to share initial design concepts and gather feedback. Comments from these sessions were provided to Park N Water and used to refine the designs. A follow-up Public Information Meeting was held in early January 2026, where the revised concepts were presented. Based on this consultation, the preferred playground design was selected.

The Municipality looks forward to moving ahead with the installation and delivering a new recreational space for the community to enjoy.
