The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc Celebrates Grand Opening of the Newly Revitalized Baseball Diamond at Yorkview Community Park

The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc is proud to announce the official grand opening of the newly revitalized baseball diamond at Yorkview Community Park. This initiative was made possible through the $125,000 Jays Care Foundation Field of Dreams grant that was awarded to the Municipality on April 30th, 2024. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and ceremonial first pitches will take place on Saturday May 24th, at 12:45pm, marking the completion of the Jays Care Foundation Grant project.

This exciting addition to our recreational facilities reflects our continued commitment to investing in healthy, active lifestyles and creating spaces where residents of all ages can come together.

The grand opening event will feature:

• Opening remarks from the Title Sponsor TD , President of the Minor Baseball Association, and the Mayor of Strathroy-Caradoc
• Ceremonial first pitches
• Official Ribbon Cutting
• Jays Care swag giveaways for the kids

The revitalized diamond will serve as a venue for local leagues, tournaments, and community events.
All members of the public are invited to attend and help celebrate this exciting milestone.
