Changes Coming To Commercial Recycling

Recycling Program changes are coming to local commercial and institutional addresses in Strathroy-Caradoc. Residential addresses are not effected by these changes.

Key changes include:

• Blue Lids to be replaced with Red Lids 
• Bluewater Recycling to provide an informative pamphlet directly to owner/manager/employee on site
• Bluewater Recycling to collect contact information for future communication

Waste collection will continue on the current residential schedule, which means some ineligible properties may have separate waste and recycling collection days.

Download the NEW Bluewater Recycling App, which replaces the previous 'Recycle Coach' app. This app will now include:

• Updated residential acceptable materials list
• Current commercial acceptable materials list
• Property-specific collection schedules

Bluewater Recycling is in the process of updating the information and everything is expected to be fully ready by January 1, 2026, if not sooner.

The first collection day for Strathroy-Caradoc is January 6, 2026.
