Jays Care Foundation - Field of Dreams Grand Opening

The newly revitalized Strathroy Royals Field of Dreams baseball diamond at Yorkview Community Park is officially open as of Saturday, May 24th just in time for the 2025 baseball season!

This initiative was made possible through the $125,000 Jays Care Foundation Field of Dreams grant that was awarded to the Municipality on April 30th, 2024. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and ceremonial first pitches took place on Saturday May 24thmarking the completion of the Jays Care Foundation Grant project.

This exciting addition to our recreational facilities reflects the Municipality's continued commitment to investing in healthy, active lifestyles and creating spaces where residents of all ages can come together.
