Municipality Receives $15,025,118 Provincial Grant

The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc has received $15,025,118 in grant funding from the Provincial Government, more specifically the Municipal Housing and Infrastructure Program – Health and Safety Water Stream to support the Strathroy Water Wastewater Treatment Facility upgrades.

“The Municipal Housing Infrastructure Program grant is a key milestone that will help ensure Strathroy-Caradoc has access to reliable wastewater treatment capacity while supporting continued growth and investment in housing infrastructure in the region,” said Mark Ortiz, Director of Engineering and Public Works for the Municipality.

Upgrades at the Strathroy Water Wastewater Treatment Facility are a crucial step in supporting our growing community, making maintenance efforts more efficient while safeguarding public health and safety. This project demonstrates the Municipality’s commitment to reliable, financially responsible, and well-maintained infrastructure.
