The Council of the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc will hold a public meeting on July 7th, 2025, to consider the following proposed Temporary Rezoning application. Please see attached the Notice of Public Meeting.

Purpose:

The Municipality is in receipt of an Application to rezone 7013 Walkers Drive (see location map). The lands are approximately 40 ha (98.84 ac) in size and are designated ‘Agricultural’ in the Official Plan and within the site specific ‘General Agricultural (A1) Zone’ in the Zoning By-law. The purpose and effect of the Zoning By-law Amendment Application is to rezone the property from ‘General Agricultural (A1) zone’ to ‘General Agricultural (A1-#-T) zone’.
The rezoning would allow for a second single detached dwelling on the property for period of up to 18 months (1.5 years).
