The Council of the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc will hold a public meeting on February 2nd, 2026, to consider the following proposed Zoning By-law Amendment application. Please see attached the Notice of Public Meeting.

Purpose:

The purpose and effect of the application is to amend the zoning on the property to permit industrial and commercial vehicle sales and repair facility. As part of this proposal, the applicant is proposing to construct a building display of vehicles in the front yard and outside storage in the rear. The property has frontage on the 402 Highway and Wright Street; however, there will only be access proposed through a driveway with ingress and egress from Wright Street. The proposal is anticipated to meet all other development standards of the ‘General Industrial (M2)’ zone.

The lands are approximately 2.1 ha (5.18 ac) in size and are designated ‘Employment’ in the Official Plan and within the “General Industrial (M2) zone” of the Strathroy-Caradoc Zoning By-law.
