The Council of the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc will hold a public meeting on February 2nd, 2026, to consider the following proposed Zoning By-law Amendment application. Please see attached the Notice of Public Meeting.

Purpose:

The purpose and effect of the application is to implement a condition of severance imposed by the Strathroy-Caradoc Committee of Adjustment for Consent B13-2025, which conditionally severed a surplus farm dwelling from the remaining agricultural lands. 

This application proposes to re-zone the 0.56 ha severed lands from the ‘General Agricultural (A1) Zone’ to a site-specific ‘Agricultural Small Holdings (A2-46) Zone’. The site-specific zoning will restrict the use of the lands for residential purposes and will acknowledge the size of the existing accessory structures. This application also proposes to re-zone the 81.9 ha retained lands from the ‘General Agricultural (A1) Zone’ to the ‘Agricultural Purposes Only (A3) Zone to restrict future residential uses.
