Upcoming Roadwork on your roadways in the month of August
(View below for further details)

Notice of Construction: Drury Lane, Strathroy
Start Date: August 5, 2025
Estimated Completion: August 16, 2025
Dear Residents of Drury Lane,
We are writing to inform you that roadwork will be taking place on Drury Lane beginning on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, with an anticipated completion date of Friday, August 16, 2025. This project is being carried out as part of ongoing infrastructure improvements to enhance the safety, functionality, and appearance of your roadway.

The planned work will involve milling and paving operations along with necessary concrete restoration. During the course of construction, there may be temporary interruptions to driveway access, and vehicle access may be restricted at certain times throughout the day. Our crew will make every effort to minimize disruptions and restore access as quickly as possible.

Please also be advised not to drive on wet tack coat, which will be applied before paving. Tack coat is a bonding agent that helps ensure the longevity of the new pavement and can adhere to tires, resulting in damage to your vehicle or your property.

While the road will remain open to local traffic, we kindly ask that you proceed with caution when driving near active work areas. Signage and traffic control measures will be in place to ensure the safety of both residents and construction personnel.

We appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation during this time. If you have any questions or specific access needs during construction, please do not hesitate to contact our office at 519-273-7550 or email hello@smithcorp.ca. Our team is happy to assist in any way we can.

Thank you for your attention to this notice, and for your support as we work to improve your roadway.

Sincerely,
Smith Construction Corporation
