The Downtown Sidewalk Lift and Relay project for Strathroy is moving ahead and can begin as early as April 13, 2026.

Work is scheduled to commence the week of April 13, 2026. To safely complete this work, a full road closure of Queen Street between High Street and English Street is anticipated for approximately five (5) weeks.

The Municipality will be hosting an open house on March 30th for the rezoning of 275 Frances Street which is the Municipal lands being proposed for affordable housing.

Please be advised that construction of the Mount Brydges Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades are scheduled to commence on Monday, March 30, 2026.

The Council of the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc will hold a public meeting on April 7^th, 2026, to consider the following proposed Zoning By-law Amendment  application. Please see attached the Notice of Public Meeting and Site Plan.

The Public Information Centre is a drop-in style meeting for residents to review the details of the proposed road reconstruction design drawings and impacts to the Municipal property in front of their home.
