Annual Roadside Weed Spraying to Begin in Rural North Areas

The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc would like to advise residents that annual roadside weed spraying in the Rural North Areas will begin during the month of June.

Roadside weed spraying is conducted by the County of Middlesex on selected rural roads throughout May and June as part of the County’s noxious weed management program.

The Municipality will make every effort to notify residents of spraying windows as they are communicated by the County of Middlesex.

Opting Out of Roadside Spraying

Residents who do not wish to have the roadway in front of their property sprayed are required to clearly post a “NO SPRAY” sign in the affected area prior to spraying operations taking place.

Property owners are encouraged to review all requirements and instructions to ensure signage is visible and properly placed.
