Council Approves Rezoning of 7013 Walkers Drive, Strathroy (Watch Here)

Council has approved moving forward with the process to redesignate and rezone the lands at 7013 Walkers Drive from Agricultural to Institutional to accommodate the proposed Strathroy Hospice.


Council Receives Update on 137 Frank Street Building Condition (Watch Here)

Staff reviewed a Structural Integrity and Foundation Report for the building. The report found that the building is generally in good condition and does not pose an immediate safety risk to staff or the public.

The report recommends routine maintenance, including repairing mortar joints, addressing minor masonry issues, removing vegetation, and continuing to monitor the building's condition. These maintenance items were already included in the planned exterior repair work.

Based on the report's findings, Municipal staff can continue to safely access the site and continue the redevelopment work that is ongoing.


Yorkview Community Park AODA Washroom Upgrades (Watch Here)

Council approved report CS-2026-39 and awarded the AODA Washroom upgrades at Yorkview Community Park to Bronnenco Construction Ltd. for the value of $86,900.00 plus HST. These upgrades will provide much-needed improvements to the community washroom facilities within the park.


Tri-Township Arena (AODA Entrance and Additional Capital Items) (Watch Here)

Council approved moving forward with the next stage of assessing renovation costs for the Tri-Township Arena in Mount Brydges.


Approved 2026 Sidewalk Tender (Watch Here)

Council approved the 2026 Sidewalk Tender in the amount of $126,800 plus HST. The project includes the construction of new sidewalks in Strathroy and Mount Brydges, as well as sidewalk replacements in Melbourne.


Hull Road Transportation Study Awarded (Watch Here)

Council awarded Paradigm Transportation Solutions to complete a Transportation Study of Hull Road in the amount of $16,500 plus HST.
