Service Award Presentation - Bernice Ross - 5 Years of Service (Watch Here)
Bernice Ross, Senior Customer Service Representative in our Economic Development and Community Engagement department, was recognized for 5 years of service with the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc. Thank you for your years of service and contributions to our community!
30 Queen Street Zoning Amendment (Watch Here)
Council held a public meeting to consider the proposal for 30 Queen Street, 10-unit, 3-storey stacked townhouse infill development. Key topics discussed included parking capacity, traffic concerns, sewage and waste disposal, and the size of the development compared to the surrounding buildings.
E-Scooter Regulation (Watch Here)
Council supported a resolution proposed by the Town of Parry Sound asking the Province of Ontario to establish a province-wide regulatory framework, rather than having municipalities develop different bylaws independently.
Skilled Trades Hub (Watch Here)
Council authorized the Mayor and Clerk to sign the four-party agreement for the Skilled Trades Training Hub (TTG) between the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc, Thames Valley District School Board, London District Catholic School Board, and Technical Training Group (Strathroy & Area). This agreement puts long-term operating rules for the existing Skilled Trades Training Hub into a formal legal agreement.
