Local Conservation Authorities Issue Flood Watch
The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority has issued a Flood Watch.
- Above-seasonal temperatures and 5 to 20 mm of rain over the past week
- Continued rain and snowmelt
- Rising water levels with pooling on roads and fields anticipated
Individuals are reminded to avoid watercourses and flooded areas due to dangerous conditions, slippery banks, and cold, swift-moving water. Children and pets should be kept away from the water.
This message will remain in effect until 12 p.m. on Monday, January 12th, 2026, unless otherwise updated.
