Municipality Advances Phase 1 of 137 Frank Street Redevelopment

The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc is advancing the redevelopment of 137 Frank Street - Municipal Service and Community Centre to modernize municipal service delivery, improve accessibility, and create a more efficient and flexible multi-purpose space for residents and staff.

Following Council approval of Phase 1, up to $1 million in funding has also been approved to support the overall redevelopment of the site, which will be delivered in phases.

Phase 1 of the project includes accessibility improvements and implementation of the approved building layout presented at the most recent Strategic Priorities meeting.
This phase will prepare the building for municipal use and support the next stage of detailed planning.

As part of Phase 1, customer service operations currently located at 52 Frank Street are planned to be relocated to 137 Frank Street, which is intended to function as
the Municipality’s primary customer service location following completion of this phase. In addition, administrative space and flexible meeting areas will be designed to support municipal operations and enhance the customer service experience.

Further information, including timelines and subsequent phase details will be shared on the Municipality’s website as they become available.
