The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc has received the following Minor Variance Application that will be heard by the Committee of Adjustment on June 4, 2026. Please see attached the Notice of Public Meeting and Site Plan.

Purpose: to seek relief from Section 4.2(1)(c) to permit an accessory structure in the front yard that is setback 1.57 metres (5.2 ft) from the front lot line, whereas accessory structures are not permitted to be located in the front yard or exterior side yard. The application will facilitate the construction of a 22.3 m² (240 ft²) shed in the front yard of the subject property. In this case the zoning by-law considers King Street the front yard whereas functionally the front of the home is Wellington.
